The Buchanan Christian Union Church Board exists to serve the needs of the church body and provide spiritual direction and oversight. The board consists of 3 elders, 3 trustees, Youth Leader, Sunday School Superintendent, Missionary President, 2 At-Large members, Youth Pastor, and Senior Pastor.
Board meetings are held normally held monthly and are open to any member of the church.
Board members are elected by majority vote of the church body at the annual church businnes meeting and serve annual terms with the excpetion of the trustess who serve multiple year rotating terms and the pastor and youth pastor who serve in conjunction with the lenght of their call. Church Business meetings are announced at least 3 times and 2 weeks prior to the meeting.
